Welcome To DiveStyle
“Together, we are a community of explorers, educators, leaders, and protectors. Are you ready to join us?”
DiveStyle takes a revolutionary, sector leading approach to diver training. Drawing on advances and techniques from the world of Technical Diving, we work within the world’s most successful diver training system – the PADI system – to develop confident, safe divers who end their introductory training ready to take their diving out into the real world to experience the amazing experiences that await..
Committed To Developing Good Divers.
We have been teaching scuba divers and non diver for 20 years, and have built up a reputation as a friendly, welcoming and above all safe scuba diving centre.
At DiveStyle we won’t take short cuts to training. For example, on our most popular entry level program: PADI Open Water Diver students are provided with a minimum of 9 hours developing skills in the pool and 2 full days at Open Water BUT if you or your instructor feel you require more time for comfort, confidence or to achieve mastery then that’s all included in the package. This means new divers are able to build their skill level whilst maintaining their personal confidence and safety.
Students train in a fully heated swimming pool located at one of Berkshire’s exclusive private school. Training in our pool provides a realistic but comfortable dive experience for our trainees as they develop and polish their dive skills – making the transfer to Open Water for the qualifying dives much less stressful. We believe that pools are ideal for introducing people to breathing underwater for the first time, to become a diver and hone those critical buoyancy sills .
Learning to dive with DiveStyle, your buoyancy control will be at the top of the skills list!
While diving is a safe sport if you firstly gain proper training and follow the safety rules, the Divers Alert Network (DAN) statistics has revealed that dive issues often reflect poor buoyancy control and therefore is a major factor in all forms of diving. Additionally – divers who have great buoyancy skills are more comfortable and with more efficient propulsion comes better gas management and longer dives.
This is why we at DiveStyle put so much emphasis on great buoyancy control at every level of training. This is reflected in the equipment which you will learn to dive in and the way you will dive. Dive professionals have often commented how surprised they are with the levels of skills and competence exhibited by our customers when they dive elsewhere.
“That’s why you (DiveStyle) set the benchmark for the diver training when it comes to producing competent divers”

Ease Of Learning
All PADI courses requires some study – and whilst we try to maximise the in water portion of the course – you will be required to learn some fundamental knowledge that will support you being a safe diver for the rest of your life. Today most people opt to use either the PADI On-line materials OR use the fantastic PADI Touch training tools for smart phones, laptops and tablets. E-reader pdf documents are also available.
We combine classroom and face to face sessions so that you get the best possible experience when learning to dive or continuing your dive education.
DiveStyle Diving is also part of a PADI centre of excellence consortium formed in 2017. Our coalition with Scuba Leeds, Techwise and Divewise, is designed to lift and set the standard of PADI recreational and technical training to the highest possible level while still maintaining fantastic customer service standards.
Most people chose to conduct their qualifying dives with us here in the UK.
However, there are some divers who have no time constraints or other constraints and may want to complete their qualifying dives while attending one of our fabulous dive holidays.
DiveStyle are happy to take you on specifically run dive holidays to suitable centres over-seas to conduct the open water element of the course.
Protecting The Environment
“As part of our Project AWARE week, DiveStyle helped survey the Glanmire wreck in Eyemouth and presented the findings to the Ghost Fishing UK. These guys do a fabulous job.”
DiveStyle is about to become a 100% Project AWARE Dive Centre.
We frequently have staff and customers participating in Beach Clean-ups and providing important data into the Dive Against Debris data base. We are working with PADI and our associates to offer all course theory material fully online, with no paper, no books and no plastic, so we have a limited environmental impact on the world we love and therefore we directly contribute to and continually promote, the development and maintenance of a better planet.
With every certification DiveStyle will donate £10 to Project AWARE – PADI’s campaigning charity.
See Our Seas Trash Free
DiveStyle also supports the Project AWARE Dive Against Debris initiative. The problem of trash and plastics in the sea won’t be solved overnight but we do our bit. We conduct regular Dive versus Debris days at various locations across the South of England and even abroad on our trips!
Everyone is invited to get involved! Contact us for more information.
PADI Approved Youth Training Centre
