PADI Twinset Speciality
If you’re interested in the idea of technical diving, but still have not made up your mind whether it is for you or not, or if you just think learning to dive with a twin set would be a cool experience, then why not sign up for the Twin Set Diver Specialty.
The PADI twinset speciality course is aimed at anyone looking to get an understanding of what twinset diving is all about. The PADI twinset speciality is also recognised and approved by PADI as a Distinctive Specialty.
The training provided will give you a full overview of how easy diving with a twin set can really be. Hopefully at the end of the weekend you will be a full convert to the idea of using a twinset for you diving, who knows, you may even get the bug and book yourself onto the PADO Tec 40 course.
You don’t need to own a twin set as all the equipment is provided including twin 12ltr manifold cylinders, wing system and regulators. Once you have completed the training these sets are available to you to hire if you decide not to buy your own.
The course consists of self study followed by an evening pool session and two open water dives conducted over a weekend.
To enroll in the Twinset Speciality you need to:
- The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent are the prerequisites for the PADI Twin Set Diver Specialty.
- The minimum age of enrollment on this programme is 15yrs.
- You will need to fill out a self certification medical statement prior to the start of your training. If you have any medical conditions you think may prevent you from scuba diving please feel free to contact us and we will try to be of assistance.
Included in the course are Twinset, wing, harness, regulator and specialised equipment hire, and certification. Other equipment hire, diving fees, transport, accommodation and gas fees are not included.
