The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI instructor. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.

This is the most popular course for people on a budget, available on our standard course schedule. Please note: You will need your own DSMB and Reel for this course. If you do not have your own DSMB and Reel you can hire one from our school equipment for just £15, for the duration of the course.
This is our best seller, available on our standard course schedule and includes a brand spanking new Spool and DSMB from our in store range. Our staff will help you select the perfect spool and DSMB, best suited to you. Your spool and DSMB will then be prepared ready for you to use throughout the course.
This is a great option if you want a completely bespoke program with 1:1 tuition and is completely flexible to your needs. Includes a spool plus Delayed Surface Maker Buoy. Also Includes DSMB & Drysuit Speciality. Pick any of our open water weekends over a 12 month period without any rescheduling or rebooking fee’s.
They’re what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course.
The Adventures in Diving programme offers both the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. If you complete any three adventure dives, you can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
After your five dives, you’ll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment. This certification allows you to safely dive to a maximum of 30 meters.
PADI Open Water Diver certification (or a qualifying certification from another organisation).
Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for the PADI Junior Adventure Diver and PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)
Medically fit for the experience, complete our Medical Form
This certification includes 5 Adventure Dives: the Deep Adventure Dive, the Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive and three of the following:
One evening and 2 days’ of diving over one weekend. If you have’t dived recently we recommend the PADI Scuba Tune-Up prior to the open water dives.

All equipment needed for any pool training plus all major items for the open water dives. Students are expected to own basic equipment (mask, fins, snorkel, boots and gloves) although these are available to hire.

PADI Advanced Open Water Divers can enrol in PADI Wreck or Deep Diver Specialty courses and continue on to the PADI Rescue Diver course, which is probably the best course you will ever do.
