Learn To Scuba Dive As A Family
Here at DiveStyle we specialise in family groups, with children as young as ten joining in and doing (sometimes better, you will not believe how fearless they can be!) the same PADI courses as the adults.
Children between eight and ten can also learn with courses designed especially for them. Why not learn together as a family and enjoy many future underwater adventures at any of the fantastic dive destinations worldwide?
We will tailor the course to suit your needs. Mid week, weekends or if you have your own pool we can come to you.
Our one on one family scuba courses are run just for you and your family. Dedicated instructors and dive masters, all there to teach you and your family.
What Will You Need?
We supply all materials as part of the course! These will include:
- A PADI Open Water Crew-Pak which includes your manual and log book.
- The PADI Open Water DVD - which makes the learning so much easier!
- A PADI eRDP. The new way to plan dives. Easy as operating a calculator.
All we need you to do is bring suitable swimwear and a good sense of adventure!
How Long Will It Take?
PADI diving programmes are performance based. You will proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the dive course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you and your family. Generally speaking it takes most people either two weekends, or if you prefer, 6 evening sessions and a weekend to earn their open water diver qualification. For the Referral course it takes just one weekend or 6 evening sessions.
Why PADI Open Water?
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognised and respected diving qualification in the world; you have the freedom to dive anywhere in the world. DiveStyle offers two options – the Open Water Diver qualification or a Referral course where you complete the final four qualifying dives at a later stage on holiday.
The PADI training materials and course structure makes it a fantastic learning solution for all members of the family and allows you to progress at the same rate so you can all enjoy the journey together.
What Do I Need To Start?
Virtually anyone who is in good health Medical Form, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.
You must be 15 years or older to begin the PADI Open Water Diver programme. For those between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, the PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification is available. It is the same thorough training but with some minor diving restrictions.
What Is The Cost?
Each course is bespoke, just for you and your family. Because it is bespoke we need to sit down with you and work through your requirements, then we can give you a price for your course.
What not give our staff a call at the dive centre to discuss?
Once you have completed your Open Water certification you can then look at the PADI Advanced Open Water or why not try a PADI Speciality.
