The D6i Novo is available in a number of colours, all of which have a durable silicone strap which is less prone to deterioration compared to traditional rubber straps and offers a better level of comfort. The housing is made from stainless steel that has a special coating that helps to eliminate those annoying fingerprint marks as well reduce marking and staining from dirt and grease. The display is protected by tough sapphire crystal glass and has also been treated to help reduce glare.
Suunto D6i In A Nutshell
Operationally the D6i Novo if very similar to it’s predecessor with four buttons for easy navigation and a partial dot-matrix display for clear and concise information display. The computer has four operating modes (Air, Nitrox, Free and Gauge) as well as Off to prevent the dive computer automatically turning itself on and into dive mode. It allows the diver to programme and switch between up to three different gas mixes of up to 99% oxygen. Tge D6i Novo has an integrated electronic 3D compass that is tilt compensating and allows bearings to be set for navigation.

The D6i Novo is compatible with an optional Suunto Wireless Transmitter that allows your cylinder pressure to be displayed on the dive computer screen. The computer is supplied with a USB transfer cable that allows you to download dive profile data to your PC or Mac.
