Scuba for Scouts is design to give any Scouting organisation the chance to experience scuba diving in a safe and fun environment.
Scuba for Scouts has been keenly priced at £25 per Scout with a minimum of 10 Scouts for any Scuba for Scout session.
If you have less than 10, then please contact us as we may be able to run your session on one of our standard evening or weekend sessions.
Are you a Scout Leader? We offer two FREE Scout Leader spaces for any group of 10 Scouts.
The Scuba for Scouts experience is split into two parts:
- Knowledge Development.
- Water Skills Development.
During the first part, the Scouts will learn basic dive safety and overview skills to be used during their water experience.
The Water Skills Development session introduces essential dive skills, such as mask clearing, regulator clearing, and alternate air source use. The Scuba for Scouts program is conducted in clear, confined water by an instructor certified by diving organisations recognised with PADI (Professional Association of Scuba Instructors).
Completion of a Scuba for Scouts session, sets the stage for additional training but does not qualify the participant to dive independently, either in confined water or open-water environments.
You can complete a PADI Open Water course to work towards obtaining your Water Activities Activity Badge.
Scuba for Scouts is not a diver certification,
