Are you really prepared?
Are you
really prepared? Could you safely and effectively provide first aid
in an emergency situation? Have you the first aid skills to save a
life?
Much of first aid is common sense. Basic
principles, such as knowing how to use an adhesive bandage or
applying direct pressure on a bleed, are often acquired passively
through life experiences. However, to provide effective, life-saving
first aid interventions requires instruction and practical training.
As with any training, it
is more useful if it occurs before an actual emergency!
At DiveStyle we can
provide training that will allow you to deliver first aid
effectively through our
Emergency
First Response (EFR) programme.
Our EFR program covers:
-
Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants
how to respond to life-threatening emergencies.
-
Emergency First Response Secondary Care
(first aid) covers injuries or illnesses that are not
immediately life threatening.
-
The
Emergency First Response Care for Children course is an
innovative CPR, AED and First Aid training course that teaches
participants how to provide emergency care for injured or ill
children (ages one to eight) and infants less than one year old.
